MHBS CLUB SHOW 2023

Thank you from all of us at MHBS to our show co-chairs, Tara and Arika, and to all the club members and individuals who helped to contribute and put together the club show to make it a sucess! Thank you to all of our members who supplied trees as well – the show wouldn’t be a show without your wonderful trees!

And a special thank you to Joann Ryan for her generous contribution to the club by allowing us to use the Albany Center Gallery as our site via her membership.

The show was a great success. We had a lot of foot traffic and interest despite the rainy weather.

There were a wide variety of tree species and styles in varying levels of development, really showcasing the variety of interests and talents of our members in bonsai and closely related art such as suiseki (viewing stones) and kussamono (grass arrangements). Presentations ranged from formal to whimsical……we thank you for joining us if you were able to get to the show in person.

A slideshow of show trees is included below with other selected show pictures. If you aren’t already part of the MHBS, we do hope you’ll consider joining us as future workshops and club meetings.

Happy bonsai-ing!!

Tree/display photos from the club show are divided into two slideshows below. Pause button is on the upper right if you’d like to linger on a particular picture. Enjoy and we hope to see you again next year!
