On April 29, one of our favorite teachers, Jim Doyle of Nature’s Way Nursery in Harrisburg PA, will host a morning workshop plus an afternoon lecture on The Art of Bonsai Display.
Beginning at 9 AM you can work with Jim on one of your trees or purchase one from Pauline or Jim. The workshop is $40 and will be limited, so email Pauline to reserve a place and send a check for $40 to Pieri made out to MHBS.
Following our monthly meeting and lunch Jim will address The Art of Bonsai for our group. Since some of us will be setting up a display with our bonsai at the annual show the week after this meeting, you might want to bring in your bonsai and display items for expert advice from Jim. Jim will also be bringing a selection of trees and other bonsai items for sale.
