The Mohawk Hudson Bonsai Society Club Show 2024 was a great success!
A huge thank you to our show committee and activities director for setting things up and to all the members who helped in ways big and small to make the show happen.
Thanks to David Hodgetts of DJH Bonsai for providing a demonstration of active tree work for the show.
There were some educational setups as well as a trees in development display…….

Some suseiki along with a pot display….

And an accent/kusamono table with beautiful member designed arrangements…..
Some members even had fun getting their displays into the Halloween spirit! 🙂

In all, there were many wonderful trees in all stages of development. Below are slideshows of more member trees that were on display.
The show was a great success and we received quite a bit of foot traffic and interest from the public in the two days it was open.
Big thanks also to the Saratoga Public Library for hosting and providing us the space!
Thanks, as always, to all of our club members. You help to make The MHBS!
If you’re reading this and not already a member, please feel free to inquire and/or join us at our club meetings and workshops listed on our calendar on the news/events page. We’d love to see you there!
Until next time, Happy Bonsai’ing!
