The Mid-Atlantic Bonsai Society (MABS) brought together bonsai enthusiasts from around the region in 2023. The conference featured a diverse range of bonsai displays, workshops, and critiques, giving attendees the opportunity to learn, grow, and showcase their skills in a supportive and stimulating environment.
MHBS presented a display that showcased the talent of its members. Attendees also had the chance to take part in a wide range of workshops led by noted bonsai masters.
And of course, the conference also offered the chance to browse and purchase items from great vendors.
Overall, the 2023 MABS conference proved to be a great success. Congratulations to all who participated!
The club also put together a tribute display in memory of our teacher, mentor, and good friend Pauline Muth. Tributes to Nick Lenz and Martin Schmalenberg, who also both passed recently, were also on display.
