Reminder that we have an exciting slate of upcoming events at the end of September into early October!
First we have visiting artist Carmen Leskoviansky joining us for workshops on Saturday September 26th and then Carmen will assist with display prep for our upcoming club show after our monthly meeting on September 27th…
Workshops with Carmen will be held at DJH Bonsai in Feura Bush, NY on Saturday Sept 26 from 9am-5pm. Registration for the workshop is for members through the online payments page on our website – memberships are also available (pro-rated) if still needed and the workshop has an 8 participant limit on a first come, first serve basis.
On Sunday, all are welcome to join us for our monthly club meeting, also at DJH Bonsai in Feura Bush, followed by display prep for our upcoming club show at Faddegon’s! Please consider joining us to learn about elements of display, see trees, or just check out the club 🙂
Last but not least is our upcoming two day MHBS club show at Faddegon’s in Latham, NY as part of their fall fest October 3rd and 4th!
The July exhibition was such a hit at Faddegon’s that our activities director, Brandon, has arranged a larger display space for two days at the nursery (thank you for all your efforts Brandon and show comittee!). You can check out the July exhibition recap post here.
Members of all experience levels are welcome to contribute trees, kusamono, suiseki or pots to be shown. Even if you can’t contribute a tree, we’d all still love to see you pass through Faddegon’s that nursery – stop by and say hello, see some wonderful bonsai, and help support The MHBS ….. as always, it’s the members that make The MHBS.
